It's too emotional and half the people in it couldn't plausibly survive in a real zombie apocalypse scenario.
Boo hoo a kid got lost, then an adult got lost, then someone else did something stupid, then someone new is on suicide watch and someone else is whining a lot. That's like the entire plot. I hope the kid, the sheriff, and grandpa all get eaten by zombies, best if they're given up as bait by the others, and if they find that little girl she better be bitten and eat all their brains when they go to sleep.
That's my take on it anyways.

season 2 does not have me excited to stay with it, and definitely could not watch a marathon of it.
