Sounds fun. I'm a bit jelly, actually. I intended to have a more fun wedding theme, but my mother in law got control and started making all of the decisions for us...
With your art skills, you should be able to do some pretty wild stuff.
I still stand by my "just elope to somewhere fun" motto, though.

rofl, it's steampunk, it's cool and part of the entire thing is that it goes back to another age when people dressed up all the time. It's not like they're doing something ridiculous like Priscilla queen of the desert.

Check out Metropolis (I prefer the 1980's version with Moroder soundtrack). Or look into H. G. Wells and Jules Verne. There's more but its a starting point.
