My ex's brother had a Steampunk themed wedding, it was beautiful! I hope you have fun with it!

For a knight in a fantasy book, there's a lot of steampunk in the long coat they put on Jaime Lannister in Game of Thrones, last spring....

I wore morning dress to my wedding, as did all men in the wedding party. We had a string ensemble playing incidental music and we left the ceremony in a carriage.
Three years later, I still enjoy looking at our wedding pictures.
I would have regretted it if we had a theme wedding based on some obscure Japanese fashion trend, but perhaps you two won't.
