As long as contraception isn't outlawed, it's not a big deal to me. A candidate's views on whether insurance should provide it might be a tiebreaker for me, but I'm not going to vote based on this issue.
That said, Santorum wants to go back to Iraq and cut taxes by a trillion dollars a year. I don't like either of those ideas, so he's not getting my vote. Ron Paul's goofy ideas (gold standard, et al.) aren't dealbreakers; Romney is a greedy bastard, but he won't run the country into the ground; Gingrich... ok, Gingrich is way worse.

I didn't know this about Rick:
In 1996, the Santorums' son Gabriel was born prematurely and died two hours after birth. Karen wrote that she and Rick brought the corpse home from the hospital and introduced him to their children as "your brother Gabriel", before a funeral and a burial.
