I agree with this! You have to be aware of where that bullet will go after impact because you are legally liable for anything it hits afterwards too. For the same reason, that is a stupid home protection gun as well. I had to rethink using slugs in my 20 gauge because of this too and move back to buck shot.
Luckily, he just fired it into the ground. Has the shooter been charged with anything yet? Reading article now. *And article says nothing. People need to be careful in a situation like this, it sounds as if the danger was gone, the suspect was gunless and running away if you shot him you now become a criminal too.

I was just curious if negligent discharge of a weapon or something minor, but I assume not. However, had he actually shot the guy running away without a guy, you would be very wrong. There is no guarantee but he would certainly be eligible for criminal and civil charges.

A friend of mine had 2 Desert Eagle .44 Mags. It was all I could do to shoot one of those with one hand. It seriously tried to take my ear off every time. Not only that, but it does a serious twist in your hand. Impossible with one hand to squeeze 2 rounds off rapid fire.

never shot one but handled enough of them at gun shows and gun shops to know the gun is just to big for my hands.
my fingers wont even completely wrap around the grip.
1911 .45 is about the largest framed gun that I feel safe handling and shooting with one hand.

A 1911 is very easy to shoot one handed.

friend of mine has this Chinese knock-off of a dao-12 shotgun.
fun gun to shoot but the dick handed it to me loaded with nitro-mags.
shooting bird shoot from a pistol grip scattergun is nothing but a 3" inch nitro mag especially when your not expecting it kicks like a mule.
