Yes, once. I ran out of gas, on the freeway, in the freezing cold, it was snowing, and I had just had hand surgery and had a cast on my arm. I started to walk and a middle aged couple stopped to help me. When we got to the gas station I had the cashier take their license plate number just in case I came up missing. The couple knew I was scared and reassured me they were good people. The stupid things we do when we're young.

Yes and you can read about it in Penthouse letters. It's the story that starts with "this never happens to me but... "

Yuk! Was that the one with 3 guys? I thought it was a story by Webby. I skipped it pretty fast.

I had class with a girl in college whose friend drove us back to the dorm once. She knew him pretty well but I didn't even know his name. So if that counts then ya, but something totally random? No way.

I have never done it, but I remember my parents picking up people while driving back home from an out of the way place. It wasn't a scary thing back when i was a kid growing up in Hawai'i to do this.
Now? NO WAY.

Driven a few people around the city been picked up a couple of times really damn glad to it's terrifying being stranded with no money
really don't know why there isn't some type of free transit esp on city buses for special circumstances
most people are just honest people in bad situations I'd say it's like 1% that are nuts and want to rob/murder you people blow it up way to much.
look at Lelu and Corban she fell right through his cab and boom badda boom they got married
