GOP doesn't have a chance in hell and they know it.

Such a fun circus to watch.

No, he doesn't have to campaign, that's why he's putting together a Super PAC... to not campaign.

Another bright observation Cutt.

He'll just open up the strategic reserves if gas spikes too much.

he will use it to push his message first. It will read something like this

"Oil companies are paying next to nothing in taxes. They are getting subsidized by the US Tax Payers. They are reaping record profits for companies. The republicans wont let me pass legislation to make them pay their fair share, and they want you the tax payer to continue to subsidize them."

Its of course not as simple as that but thats pretty much the message that will be delievered and eaten up. Then out of the kindness of his Overlord heart to help the little guy, the truckers, farmers, he will tap into the reserves.

cutt if they took oil of the subsidies market how much would it go down ?

Global warming cutting production combined with China and India's rising middle class creating a higher demand for food is the cause of this. Obama isn't the cause.

why not just blame f'kin sunspots

absolutely retarded. its OUR economy the breads on OUR shelf its OUR doing. not friggin China and India.

For some unforseeable, unpredictable, unmodelable reason, food production has declined. Thus supply has decreased.

Totally unrelated, those bastards in the country of "not America" want more food. Thus demand has increased.

In a free market, when supply decreases or demand increases, the cost of goods and services rise.

So, obviously, what we should do is have the military attack the plants until they grow more food, and declare war on "not America" until they reduce their demand.

Food is going up because corn is now being used for more things then feeding cattle. Which drives the price of corn up thus cattle.

Not at all, but the arguement Supreme Holiness Obama will make is this. Why are we subsidizing oil companies making record profits and paying lower taxes (and selling a good amount of their subsidized product now to China) and cutting subsidies on farmers who are paying higher taxes?

Food is going up for about a million reasons, blaming Obama for it is pretty retarded, but it was TUG doing that so that pretty much explains that away.

Gas princes are higher.

Exports are higher

farming subsidies are down

inflation

droughts

etc etc, there are about a million reasons.

Yes and the price of energy has NOTHING to do with farm production.

It really is that simple and Jimmy Carter called it over 30 years ago.

The idiocy that abounds around ACF is indicative of the United States as a whole.

We deserve the collapse that's coming.

Luckily, when the dust settles, it will likely be the gun owning conservatives left standing.

It's amazing how much people believe in what they are told and very apparently do not look in to the info themselves. This thread is hilarious.
