Yes. The media is united in attacking the Republican Party. It's the "new" political strategy. Use the media (social and otherwise) to make your opponent "stupid" in the eyes of the American people.

People are sheep, and stupid enough to fall for this. Anyone who thinks Obama is good for this country, whether you're a Democrat or a Republican, is mentally ill.

I really don't understand how so many people can be so stupid.

He's inexperienced, making huge mistakes, and digging a deeper and deeper financial hole from which we are unlikely to recover.

I honestly don't understand who could possibly be okay with:

Paying more for gasoline.

Paying more for groceries.

Paying MUCH more to give free health care to drug addicts, illegal aliens, and the eternally lazy.

Allowing the government more control over your everyday life.

Paying an additional 3.8% tax on selling your home....when we already have a problem with the housing market?! Obama was at least smart enough to not have it take effect until after the 2012 election.

Now, I will be fair. The Republicans are likely going to be just as bad....just in a different way. If I hear one more thing about abortion, denying rights for gays, or religion in schools, I'm going to goddamn puke.

Things need to change. Completely.

The focus needs to be the economy, size of government, and our budget. Period. We need to get our house in order.

You are foolish to believe he's not already campaigning.

You will see so much of his face on TV from August through November that you will think he is big brother from 1984.

He has already pre-bought so much of the ad time that whoever does win the Republican side will have a hard time finding any time to actually buy.

The large question is -- can he sweep in enough democrats into the house to take the house and can his coattails allow the dems to hold the senate (a harder task actually)?

I think that is where rigged voting will come into play -- it wont happen with the presidential race, but it may happen with certain districts in close races for congressional or senatorial seats.

This I agree with, will be interesting to see what happens there. The Presidential race will be a cake walk though. This could be the worst GOP field ever for that role.

The real question is, will anyone run against him.

Obama's approval rating is 95% among candidates running against him. WHY WOULD THEY WANT TO WIN?!

Romney the moderate from 10 years ago would have been a much better general election candidate, although he would never have made it out of the primaries. Romney the wannabe RWN politard of today is unelectable. Republicans don't trust him, and Democrats don't want a far right candidate.
