It looked like the Knicks were going to fall last night, I thought ok, I guess the Jeremy Lin dialogue is going to start to die down, then he goes and pulls that off. Crazy.

It's pretty remarkable... I hate the NBA (Seattle was robbed) but I can't help but love his story...
I cant stand the NBA but am really getting into it now because of him.

Lin is going to pull a lot of fans back into the NBA that have been ignoring it for a few years. Two things jaded me, what happened to Seattle and how the NBA garnered the reputation of being thuggish.

Nice shot. The circumstances were in his favor, too. Tie game instead of being behind. If he missed all he got was OT. Also, with his low 3-pointer percentage, the defense was bound to give him that shot, especially since it was well beyond the line.

About 20 teams in the NBA are horrible or mediocre at best.

They were playing Toronto, and the game was tied. The fact that it came down to a buzzer beater was sad enough.

The NBA garnered that reputation like 10 years ago though, Stern did a good job cleaning the NBA up. Now the image is all about humble college-aged kids that are superstars.
It pisses me off a little that people who haven't watched the NBA in 15 years and are now watching it, act like the NBA is important now that they're watching it. It's nice that Lin is bringing in new fans but to hell with all of you imo, you don't know &^#* about nuthin' and I don't care about you at all.
