Jeremy Lin was shooting 16% from three this season. Any team would have probably given him that shot. It's ridiculous that he nailed it.
The Tebow comparisons continue. Tebow can't throw half the time yet throws amazing passes late in the 4th when they count. Jeremy Lin can't shoot the 3, yet nails a game winning one in the 4th.

He is not a very good 3 point shooter, but he can hit them and has the confidence for being a strong clutch shooter (so his % could even rise for buzzer beaters). But yeah no need to double team him or anything..
His stats are pretty good except he has a heck of a lot of turnovers.
Look at Steve Nash for the last 10 games.. a great Assist/turnover ratio, shooting 63.6% from the field. And no one even notices. It's just where you focus attention. Of course the Suns are not winning much.
But basketball is a team game, and Lin could bring enough intangibles to make something special happen. He's just not a basketball elite/God like some people have been making him out to be. It's exciting to see how far the team will go.

Also the way they were defending him, it seemed like he could have drove the hoop and taken a decent shot. The fact that 1 guy was on him gave him options and there was no pressure to make a pass.
