Detroit doesn't deserve %&$#. They already had the successful Tigers who btw just got one of the biggest FA acquisitions in the entire MLB this offseason. They have the successful Lions who just emerged out of a long coma, with arguably the best WR in football playing for them. They have the Detroit Red Wings who have been a powerhouse for a millenia.

So tell me why Detroit deserves any good news? Because they make crappy cars and nobody wants to buy their crap cars? Is that why I have to feel sorry for them?

I'm not going to as many games or following it as closely this year because my life is so chaotic. Sadly, it doesn't look like it'll get better until this time next year. I don't think many VN posters are missing hockey threads.
