The guy i bought it from put a 350 in it left the stock three on the floor and put 4:11s ( not sure if it was 4:11 or 4:10)
but its geared way high it cruises at about 35 in first gear
I dunno buddy, I don't think you would cruise at 35 MPH in first gear with gears that tall.
between the three speed trans and the rear end (again not sure the ratio) it goes WAY to fast for first gear its the only thing i hate about the car but i haven't had the time to jack it up and count the revolutions which just goes to show how bad i suck since ive had the car for 16 years.

my 4 speed manual firebird used to hit 55 in first gear before I did a rear end swap.
