Since we're on the topic of Steak...how well done? |
If it is a good restaurant I will order rare and be confident that what I am getting will be good.
At cheaper restaurants I order medium rare.

Well done or else I get an allergic reaction. I don't bother ordering steaks when I'm out, they always start it at medium, forcing me to send it back. Plus they always end up leaving the juices all over my plate, and I still get the reaction because most of them give me back the same bloody plate. So ordering steak is just a battle with the chef/server.
I've ordered it "Burn the crap out of it and if there is any blood on the plate I'm sending it back." Still got medium.
