I freaking love that scene, that is one of my favorite parts of that whole movie.
Now I want to go listen to that song again, it is totally badass.

the first two minutes wasnt in the movie.
that was deleted I think, cuz I didnt know the vette was his dad's car.

I JUST watched that movie and I'm almost sure that most of that was not in the movie. I only remember from him in the car on....
I dunno, maybe I'm wrong. shrug

the first bit wasn't in the movie, no. first thing I saw in the theater of that scene was the kid being in the car.
