And, I don't like to drive in the snow anywhere because of the other people. This even applied back home. Many people think because they have a 4WD they can drive in snow. Put them on a downhill run in the snow and all advantage disappears.

Have you noticed that barely anyone there understands that the left lane is for faster cars? Most will just stay in the left lane the whole time (even if the right lane is completely empty) and refuse to move over when a faster car comes up behind them.

People here yes. Where I come from we never got showers. They come from cloud formations we simply didn't get. It was rain only. Here they get both, but mostly showers. When the rain starts the traffic stops.
