Congratulations, your taste is so poor that you can't stand one of the most critically acclaimed and universally loved TV series.
I'm guessing you were missing a lot when you were watching the show. It's closer to a book story-telling pace than most series, some people are too ADD for that.

I could not care less what other people think about a show/movie/book/music I either like it or I don't...4.5 billion people liking something does not make it good... just popular, you like it, good for you, I never said it sucked, just that I didn't feel like hearing f*ck every 6.7 seconds...hell maybe I just don't like cop show

Rabbit, it took me a bit to get over the street slang/jargon. But you should know they hired people out of prison for being drug dealers and gang members. So it's more accurate and realistic than your a typical drama-cop show. Hence the vocabulary.

only watched the first 3 or 4 episodes but it didn't do anything for me, seemed like every other cop and bad guys show

My old ears and crappy TV speakers have to watch with the subtitles on to make sure I don't miss anything.

The Wire is freaking brilliant. One of the best and one of the most underrated shows ever.
The first few episodes of a season can be slow, but it really picks up and the way they tie everything together is incredible.
