Who?

I don't recognize the name, so I'm being serious... I'm too lazy to google... lol
lead singer for Nirvana
Oh, that explains it then... Deaf guy walking here so... I know absolutely NOTHING about music except for one thing... it's unbelievably annoying. Even when I'm riding in my mom's car, I'll be like *turns off radio* and my mom'll be like "What the hell?" I'll be like "Uh, it's annoying..." then we get in a bitch-slap about how I should turn off my hearing aid, ignore, or whatever... I'll be like, "So you want me to turn off my hearing aid... The one you paid 2 grand for me to be aware of my surroundings..." then she just shuts up and sits there fuming driving wherever we're going... And we do this EVERY damn time I get in the car with her...
I would be annoyed because thats a jackass thing to do. If you don't like it drive yourself jackass.

One of the most over rated "musicians" of all time.
To the tune 'fanboiz' took him to? Yes.
To what he actually gave to the musical community? No.
He was a HUGE part of the Grunge music movement, and inspired a lot of people, singers, bands, that are still around to this day and beyond.
Not to mention promoting a huge underground scene that was unavailable to the rest of the country. What other band does that today?
when today's music is coming from American Idol, what do you expect.
Sorry but Kurt sucked. Over rated (he wasn't the only grunge band), and he's a giant pussy for killing himself and not being around for his child. Alice in chains is 1000 times better.
No he wasn't, but he is 100% responsible for the revolutionary movement that took place. It is impossible to deny that.
It's easy to deny that. 100%?? No... part of it? Yes.

100%?
LOL
Listen if you think he's the shiz, that's fine.. to each their own.. but let's stop pretending he was that relevant because he simply wasn't. He's got a cult following and that's about it.
Where is his music on the radio? Almost non existent.
I'm not sure what radio you listen to, but I hear Nirvana on the radio quite frequently.

Cult following? Nirvana sold over 50 million albums. That's a large cult. They still play three or four regularly on classic and alternative rock stations.
