There are two walking dead whiner factions:
1) The "more zombies nao!" faction:
You whiners complain that a story about long term survival in a post apocalyptic world that doesn't feature daily "life or death" encounters with swarms of undead. The fact is that those of you complaining about this don't get it at all. If you were in a setting where you had to fight day-in and day-out, you would eventually just run out of resources or get killed yourself and then the series would be over! An additional fact is that you people don't actually get this and this is why I am not interested in your opinions.
2) The writers got fired! faction:
The other faction is the "the series sux since they fired the original writers!" The reality of this is that all of you whiners in this group are trying to appear as if you're some sort of critic or "educated" entertainment industry insider. You think this sort of complaint makes you cool, and that speaking about this subject makes you seem more "in touch" or gives you more credentials in the land of other unemployed wannabes. That is why I'm not interested in your opinions either.
To both of you groups of whiny bitches I offer the following advice: if you don't like the show don't fkn watch it and don't whine to others who do. I am sorry that your own self-worth is somehow tied to whether or not I care about your opinion - well I'm not really sorry, I think you're pathetic for that fact. Yes I understand that my own assessment of the validity of your opinion carries considerable weight, but either way, you need to grow up. Nobody at all cares about the opinions of whiny, self entitled, 20 something year old basement dwellers who think that complaints make them seem more "relevant".
There, so, are we all on the same page now? Good. Whiners will probably stop reading at this point and go on deriding me for not giving a fk about your opinions, and I won't give a fk about those either. Actually, I take that back. Seeing you post about how it pisses you off that I don't give a damn what you have to say is entertaining to me, so by all means, keep it up!
The story is entertaining to me because it shows the actual struggles with "real" people (or at least plausibly "real" people) in a fantasy environment and how they cope and deal with not just the eminent threats to their lives but with the inevitable interpersonal clashes that go hand-in-hand with the human condition. That's what makes it interesting. It's not some video game fueled absurdity, it is an attempt to show how people REALLY think and act when they aren't constrained by anything other than the will to survive. It's very telling.
P.S.: there'd be no room for complainers in my zombie apocalypse survival camp. I'd be even less interested in your opinions then than I am now
