Got a care parcel of British goodies this morning, amongst which was this gem:
Havent tried it yet, im waiting for that perfect Marmite-on-toast craving to hit, at which point its almost necessary to break out the Good Stuff

About the only thing I can imagine that they could do to Marmite to make it taste worse would be a "stronger taste" version.

I've never had marmite, but some kiwi friends of mine sent me some vegemite once. They said the problem with most Americans is they slather it on thick like butter or jam, but it should be thinly spread. Just enough to taste. So that's what I did (on crackers) and I thought it was quite pleasant. Very strong, but not bad. Spreading it on thick like peanut butter would have been a BAD idea.
