Yeah remember being a kid and watching my mom and grandma slice one in half, take the seed out, sprinkle sugar on them and just go to town.

Well I don't know! I don't like avocados anyway, so I don't know if putting sugar on it is gross. Just seemed weird to me.
Now, that pic, right in my face of a busted jaw, lips open...that was soooo not right.

crisis averted. i passed the fruit tower thing on the way to the fridge and was like ooh pear! then they weren't ripe enough so i got a banana. store pears piss me off. you can never tell if they'll be any good because they're SO unripe it's ridiculous. the ones i got today are as hard as apples.

canned fruit defeats the purpose of eating fruit, lol
Pear trees is what we had plenty of growing up, I especially enjoyed the winter pears. We had so many that my mom would quarter and dehydrate them every year and we'd still have pears coming out our ears. My dad even invented a pear picker device that would get the ones really high up without bruising them.
