Just refi'd to %4.85 25 year. *Zero points
Due to the current housing market and property values it is a great time to refi, but a horrible time for appraisals. Sucks! Better hope you do not have a lot of foreclosures in your neighborhood. Many things out of your control can f your appraisal. At least for me, I had to be appraised at a certain amount or higher to meet the refi reqs and I barely squeaked by and my appraisal was less than when I bought it. Thanks bush!
