I have a couple I've kept going just because they were close in the past and still reach out to me, but sometimes they say some really stupid things that make it clear they don't know me at all anymore. Sometimes it feels like there's no point to it.

Delete and block them on Facebook. Stop responding to their calls/texts. Problem solved.
