Who was the NL MVP, and what did he do?

Ryan Braun. MLB said he tested positive for HGH<?>, or some other illegal substance.

They aren't supposed to do that until the appeal is over, which ended today. It found him innocent.

They dragged his name through the mud for no reason.

Posted my question as I was leaving work.. listened to it on sports radio on the way home...... I forgot about this

For whatever reason I was thinking of Prince Fielder

Report I heard is he got off because of chain of custody for test, they are saying it was still positive but the chain made it irrelevant.

curious if they even bothered to see what the FedEx office hours were.

pretty pathetic a dirty player gets off because his sample sat intact in one space as opposed to another, IF the other office was even open.
FedEx here isn't open on saturday nor sunday.
World Anti-Doping Agency sees nothing wrong with what happened either.

It's not some lame technicality. They had no proof that it was his urine test.

And he offered to do a DNA test, which the MLB declined.

edit: if you want a better idea of whats going on with this,

way too many "i think" statements from someone who does not know the details to consider that clip any form of proof.

i read earlier that Anti-Doping Agency said the seals were intact...is that not the case?
the way this clown was talking, it leads you to believe he pissed in a tupperware container and walked away...NOT at all how a piss test is done.

ALSO, i would consider ESPN, the group that caused this appeal, as saving face in this incident.

yet another black eye on the most pathetic drug testing policy in sports.

i like how a few other groups (olympics for one) have already come out condemning this decision

And the second test which he also failed?

If a player comes back with a positive test they are given a second sample, he also failed that test.

Not that it matters, the original sample couldnt have been tampered with either, they are sealed and only the lab can remove the seals.

I can't find anything about him failing a second test. This one says the second test was clean Link. I did see how they performed a second test on his failed sample to get more detail.

Not saying he's guilty, not saying he's innocent. They obviously did not prove guilt beyond reasonable doubt.
