Honest question though: isn't a lot of what you have been diagnosed with genetically passed on? Like really big predispositions if not directly? If I had something really wrong with me, there is no way I'd take the chance of passing it onto my spawn.

Hell, there are times I wish we could go back to being DINKs and loving life, but for the most part the kids fulfill our life.
Oh and DE,
In that scenario, we are the parents that flag a waiter and ask them to make our food to go real quickly, and apologize while we get our kid out of there. We have done it together and singly, many times.
Just cause we decided to have kids, doesn't mean they need to be a burden on anyone else.

There is a chance, but there is an equal chance they will be fine, not inherit anything.

I'm the oldest of eight. It was definitely fun, and at that time I thought I would want a big family of my own, too. Yeah, not so much anymore- not to that extent, anyway! I'm pregnant with number four, and this will probably be it. I thought we were done at three, but surprise! Guess not, lol.

I'm one of four sisters. It was like growing up with your own built-in playmates. I just couldn't do more than one. Now that her dad remarried, though, she has a step-sister and a half-brother, so she doesn't feel so alone anymore. They get along really well, too.
