I have a problem pk...
I love to travel.
A few more trips to the States slated for this year(Vegas, and Montana-golf trip), maybe Australia/New Zealand next year early Jan...or South America: Argentina and Brazil...we'll see.
Family wants to do a trip too. We were thinking Portugal, but maybe we'll just do Hawaii instead.
My friends are still trying to convince me to come to Italy with them for a few weeks in June. Pretty sure with the finances as they are...not going to happen.

Cancel all the trips. Entice friends to come to you if they're in a position to. You won't see it now, but you're really just prolonging your financial hardships.
You'll love to travel more when you've gone through the disciplined practice of paying that debt off and staying out of debt. It will feel even better than a few vacations.

Selling my house...done quite well on the interest rate: variable prime minus 0.5% so I've managed to pay off quite a bit.
So hopefully I'll net a pocket full of cash on that. The problem is I have to live somewhere, so I'll probably dump a ton of it back into another mortgage+house. The rental rates around here...are insane. Cheaper to buy a place and pay a mortgage than to pay rent on a similar home.
I wish I was debt free...I really do. Just not sure how people do it. My mortgage hangs over my head like a guillotine.
