Yes, the perspective that being held against her will was bad enough. There is no need to blow the work she did out of perspective.

She wasn't paid minimum wage, most illegals aren't.

She lived in a closet, but we don't know how large it was. have you ever seen the shacks illegals live in when they pick your fruit? I'd choose a closet ANY DAY over those.

The horrific part is that she wasn't allowed to leave. This is the difference over the other millions of illegal workers.

other people working there would had helped her, a house that size must have 10 cars and 30 phones

she does deserve a lot of money for back pay, ot, vacation pay ect but not anything criminal

If you do your thinking for yourself, there's no need to parrot. Also, once you think things through, they're usually expressible simply.

And what about those who can't negotiate because they have nothing? Are they to accept $1 an hour to keep from starving while never having a way to better their situation?

Once they start working and earning whatever they can, they won't have nothing anymore.

Often when I see Rho post this quote pops to mind

"For every complex problem there is an answer that is clear, simple, and wrong." H. L. Mencken

Bumper sticker philosophy feels good but it's what got us 8 years of GWB and a hangover that still hurts.

Mencken, too, knew the power of brevity.
