I think there are a lot of people in the upcoming generations that are going to need a lot of "suck it up buttercup" life lessons.
Too many people think the world revolves around them because their parents did.

Kid I hate to say it but after 3 years worth of psych and child development classes, most psychological issues stem from childhood issues that haven't been resolved, just repressed.
Very true. And now that's hes blowing off his family's side - how does that make things right? That psych hes seeing is a f***ing tard. He should be sending his pity letters to them, not us.

I would have just called the police and had him thrown in the clink.

We were hoping my grandmother would call for the police for fraudulent checks, but shes trying to play peacekeeper. Understandable. We can't call police for theft because it was over the coarse of 2 years. And we wouldn't have proof, though, we know it was him.

In Game of Thrones, they would cut his head off.
You should do the same.

What a giant crock, even psychology is getting into "blame someone else, anyone, but the person who's doing bad things."
JFC, personal responsibility is not even nonexistent, it's being diagnosed away now, too.

In his letter to my step-father, which was obviously suggested by the shrink, he said he thinks of my step-father as his dad, despite a 6 year age difference, and he wished he could watch sports with him every Sunday - which he had 10 years to do LOL
Yeah, the psychologist made things worse. Plus, I never heard of a psychologist for kleptomania. And then being diagnosed with depression.
Now that he has my sister back, I doubt hes still seeking the psychologist. We haven't talked to him in over 2 months, so, I wouldn't know. And we don't speak his name around my sister. Their kids know all about this, too, and they're not too upset. They know we hate their dad and hes not allowed over the house anymore.
