i have many loves for a'tuin!


edit: funny story to me, at least. when i lived in la, we had a tortoise. it was in the family when i was born. she was named mr t. (lol) she loved our house and garden and was bffs with my mom's little dog. she'd come out of her den and the dog would lick her face forever. she loved it. then we moved. she did not like our new yard, even though it was about 4x bigger. i think because we put in a pool and she didn't like living on a hill. either way, she was unhappy. she ran away. which involved her climbing over fences and moving from yard to yard until she got about 5 houses down and found a yard she liked. everyone knew she was our turtle so when she was found in her new home, they called us as we took her back to our house. well she did the same thing again. so when they found her in their yard again, we told them to keep her as she was quite happy living there. they were nice people so they let her stay.

They are ok. Never owned one as a pet though.
