People I know will whisper "filter" to me furiously at times. My girlfriend often makes me promise to say nothing if my answer is going to upset people.
It's funny, I try not to be an ass, so I will just say nothing most of the time, but if you ask me for my opinion, I'm going to give it.
I'm not much for cussing actually. Only on the outpost, where those idiots need to have some reinforcing words or they don't realize you are serious.

Yes, i filter myself constantly. I have to censor myself on these forums all the time.
otherwise I'd go around using words like c***, f***, s***, p***, etc...

Since I'm not a giant jackass, yes, I'll filter what I say. Never a good idea to say everything and anything that crosses your mind.
I filter mine down to giant jackass level.

Opinion = fact. Anecdote = proof. Political label more important than either of those.

For me it is situational. Work, I'll filter - or if I know the person is not comfortable with how I might usually speak/present issues.
Otherwise, no.

Mangler had an accident on the way home from the liquor store. He was run off the road and crashed into a woman's clinic. It was one giant Pabst smear.
