I didn't have this with either of my kids. Instead, I went into some crazy animal part of my brain, it felt like I was basically a passenger in the back of my head passively watching my body do all this really undignified stuff.
I didn't have the vomiting stuff either. I remember screaming, "I just want it out!!!!!!"

No vomiting for me either, with any of em. I do remember having to actively push with the first one, but with the second, once I reached 10 cm my body completely took over and I had zero control. The nurse was freaking out cause the doctor wasn't in the room yet. "Don't push don't push!" she was saying. I just remember snapping back "I'm trying NOT to push but this baby is coming NOW, I have NO CONTROL over it!" Doctor was literally in the room next to mine and he came in too late- nurse had to catch the baby. My third one was quite literally laughed out.

My second baby was positioned face-first, and my CNM thinks she might have levered herself out with her chin on my pubic bone. She started crowning as the anaesthesiologist started prepping me for a spinal (because they'd figured I was going to need a C-section). They yelled at me not to push, but that wasn't me pushing...I'd go so far as to say I was not the one driving the car at that point. The anaesthesiologist disappeared, I never even saw where he went, and they called my husband back into the room just as our daughter emerged.

when the wife and i had the baby, it was easy for me, the drugs helped
