Think about what else you might happily snip with scissors and get them out of your reach.

Seizures are not black and white events. It would be my guess that every seizure is different for every person and still not always the same. Some people can maybe control them completely while others not so much.

Well that sucks. yeah move stuff out of reach if they come on unpredictable like that. And wear tight pants. you don't want to snip your johnson off.

BTW, for the sinus congestion you may want to look into using a neti pot. Cheap & easy way to rinse out your sinuses & nasal passages with saline. I have found that it helps me with my allergies and sinus infections. My wife has commented that when I use it regularly, I also snore less since I'm breathing better while asleep.
Sorry to hear about the epilepsy though
