Make me feel better. Just got robbed for $1700 for a standardized test and hoping surely someone else has taken it in the pants worse than me. There goes my fun money for awhile...

A bulls--t trumped up one that charges $500 for the written test that is actually relevant and an extra $1200 for a practical test to make sure foreigners wanting the license speak English and understand that we don't stone women for sex outside of marriage here...

Not for a test but I did pay about that in "fees" to join a roofing union 20 years ago.
