got booed once..
background: back in HS, one of my friend's family was hosting a foreign exchange student from France. My friends mother wanted us to take him on a whale watch so she paid our tickets.
While we were on the watch, there was a seagull flying about 5 feet above the rail at the back of the boat. People had gathered around and were all googling over him and how impressed they were that it could keep up and the beauty of nature and all that. There was even a guy video taping it.
So we walk up to the crowd and my friend takes out a devil dog and whips it at the seagull. It was direct hit, and the devil dog smeared all over it knocking him off his course and causing it to turn around once it regained it's balance.
the whole boat turned to us and booed.

You know sometimes, when you read something, and you create the visual in your head? You run it over your mind a few times, and every time it gets funnier, and funnier

we pretty much hid inside the boat the rest of the trip.. all the people shunned us. Some were angry, some were aghast.. We slinkered out of there pretty fast. We thought they were gonna lynch us.
It cracks me up thinking about it though.. somewhere a guy has it all on film.
