Did you roam the neighborhood with your family lawn mower looking for lawns to mow for money? Nobody would pay for that, plus we lived out in the country. Another kid beat me out for the job mowing the cemetary. Did you survive all of your childhood and not once ever eat at a fast food joint? NO once a summer we'd get a dipped cone from Dairy Queen. Would you see/hear commercials for fast food places and wonder what the food was like? Yes I can't answer 'yes' to all of these. Edit: To answer the subject, no. I always had a roof over my head and never went hungry for lack of food until I was moved out of my parents' house. -----signature----- . Opinion = fact. Anecdote = proof. 	Onslaught. posted: Still don't understand. Salmon croquettes are BA. Have you ever priced Pink Salmon in the store? It's cheap. It's also the worst salmon you can eat. After I grew up I had a hankering for some so bought a can. Yes Was there a time you only had one car? Yup, most of my childhood (until my brothers got jobs and bought their own cars. My parents have only ever owned one car at any one time, and never bought cars for any of us kids). Was there a time you had to share a bedroom with a sibling? Until i was 13 and my brother moved out, i shared with my sister Did many meals consist of Spam? So at 12, i got 12 pounds a month) Did you survive all of your childhood and not once ever eat at a fast food joint? Nope, McDonalds birthday parties were a big thing when i was growing up.
