I have like 2 weeks to land a job, or I'll have to sell my house and live in a travel trailer.

I don't currently live in a travel trailer, I live in a manufactured home.

and in reality, I have about 4 weeks until I'm out of income. If I don't get some interview action this week I'll be applying at the call center that hires everyone.

Kinda hoping I get a call from this job that is out in the boonies, doesn't pay for sh*t, but it would be experience, and I could move out there and live for half the cost of where I live now.

Without changing my lifestyle, at least a year if not longer. Single, no kids, car is paid off, and a nice bit of money in the bank. Only bills are rent, utilities, cell, cable/internet and obviously food.

I've lived well below my means for quite some time now and most of my bills can be paid with the first week paycheck.

Hey Norm, you hear about the studies being done at Johns Hopkins about the Y chromosome of persistent bar troublemakers?
Yeah, they found a striking similarity between that and chronic droolers and idiots.

Oh, we'd be screwed, big time. We make pretty good money between the two of us, but with 3 kids aged 22.5, 22.5, and 17.5 there are still lots of expenses as neither of the oldest are living completely on their own (we are paying for ones living arrangements and the others community college). The youngest has been accepted into and starts in college in the fall. Our house was purchased in 2008 and then promptly went about $75-100k *underwater*. We'd both get max unemployment, but that won't pay all the expenses for much more than 6 months.
