The two I posted were, but a couple times I mentioned making some for myself next, and how one girl is due six weeks after me.

Yeah. No problems with that, but it is definitely something to watch for in anyone craving ice. I think part of my issue is that I run hot to begin with (I get hot way more easily than I get chilly) and it's even worse when I'm pregnant- and worst in the last trimester! The ice helps keep me cool.

I had a huge fan facing my desk in the middle of winter when I was pregnant. Over heated the whole time.

I bought one similar to this one several years ago:

Works great and easy to use. It shaves ice blocks frozen in molds. And its a tiny investment if you just want to mess around with one. I picked one up in the clearance section at a store getting rid of their summer stuff. This one is pretty cheap too though for $25. |
