I had a conversation with a coworker today that believes they are all leaving at that point while I believe they are not all leaving.

If you believe your god is going to come down and grab your ass and fly off to heaven with you while you are alive.....you have bigger problems than worrying about how you will look flying off to heaven while wearing a skirt.

The whole concept of rapture is retarded. So if you're a christian at a certain point of time you get to vanish when things turn bad. Yet I am sure there are plenty of christians today who will die horrible deaths. Where is their rapture?

my understanding is that if you were to die and be allowed into heaven, those are the people who would be taken in the rapture.

everyone left are the non-believers, sinners, etc who would have been turned away by Peter at the Pearly Gates and sent to hell...

so if you don't get taken in the rapture, but you think of yourself as a Christian, you're obviously doing it wrong.
