I remember my worst time - overseas while in the Navy, on a deployment to the Mediterranean, and in port. The ship's cooks had decided to do a bunch of hot dogs for everyone, right there on the pier, so we wouldn't be hungry while heading into town. I grabbed 2 hot dogs on the way back to the ship. I couldn't work for 2 days, and *barely* made it to Medical when the first cramps hit. Doc says "Oh, it will probably pass in a couple hours..." WRONG.
For those that said they are either immune or have steel stomachs -- your day is coming. No one is immune forever.

I personally don't recall getting food poisoning.
Though my coworker had gotten it pretty bad. He said he was throwing up violently for a couple days, and that he ripped his esophagus. had to have surgery and stayed in the hospital for a while.
He's super thin. And only eats pre packaged items or food he brings from home
