Want no calls, look at Dwight Howard, he gets hacked EVERY time he gets near the rim and maybe half are called.

Yet he leads the league in going to the foul line. But you are right. I see the Magic play almost as often as the Heat, and yeah, he gets hacked constantly and tons of no-calls.

I don't know how Lebron and Dwight, the #1 and #2 FTA/G players, compare to Derrick Rose here.

Derrick is shorter, weaker, weighs less, plays more under the rim...and is probably just as aggressive in attacking the rim as those two guys are. And he has to barrel through 4 defenders and finish at the rim all the time. #1/#2 vs #15.

I'm just saying he could get a few more calls per game, that's all. Go from #15 to top 5, I think that would be fair.

You think Rose plays near/under the basket more than a freaking center, especially Howard?

Yes, Rose plays under the basket more than Dwight/Lebron. By that I mean, his shot attempts at the rim are coming from under the rim (layups), while Lebron and Dwight are more likely to just power dunk every thing.

Rose is a PG, you have to remember. He's not a 250 pound SF freak of nature like Lebron, or a huge C like Dwight is. His game is much more finesse, speed, touch, difficult layups are his thing. He doesn't dunk that much.

under the rim/above the rim are just terms that describe the play style of an individual. Like Russell Westbrook is a guy that plays above the rim, he's dunking everything. Derrick Rose and Rondo, they play under the rim.

It's a good thing fouls aren't determined based on the size of the player, then.

A little contact does a lot to change the trajectory of a shot. You would just have people committing reach-in fouls, rakes and hand checking all game long?

That would truly suck, it's not basketball then it's just a mugging
