My answer to this was every other day on week days. Mon, Weds, Fri. Even with that I could probably do with only 1 day a week getting mail since I actually get something I want in the mail once every other week or so.

I'm good with Mon, Wed, Fri and nothing on the weekend then skipping delivery on holidays.
