All hope is not lost.
I texted her a few hours ago saying, "Would you rather point out other peoples problems or help them solve them".
She just replied with, "  ou don't give up do you? I'll stop in around midnight, Have coffee ready and be sober, this might take a while".
Hell yeah.

Didn't happen. She got to know me, and started hating me for stuff I am instead of stuff she imagined I am....damn, that sucks.

Also, with my first child, after two hours of labor (I was admitted at 3 cm dilated) I decided I had enough of this ridiculous "natural" labor and I REALLY REALLY REALLY wanted an epidural.
I didn't get one  But that was because I was already at 9 cm. Fifteen minutes later I had a baby. Would've taken at least that long for them to get the anesthesiologist there

I've been fortunate enough to have a lot of the things I've wanted in life and even stumbled into some things I didn't know I wanted. I've also got three consecutive rejection letters from the same graduate program, been turned down for dinner in Paris, and been rejected for volunteer work.
If you're not failing at anything, you're not trying hard enough...

I'm not sure what that means.
I like to think I'm a pretty decent person who isn't a total dick...but at times, I embrace my inner dickhead and rage for a bit....
I know I'm totally spoiled and have no clue about what life is like for most people. I've been blessed and lucky, and I have never had a problem with finances or money(not in the last 20 years or so anyway). I've made a lot more than I could ever spend. Been retired since my early 40's, I don't work, and wont work again. Too much bullcrap involved.
She isn't a child, turns 29 next week. Been married, divorced for a couple of months, owns her company, makes decent bank, nothing to covet but enough to be impressed by....
I am gonna make this chick love me, or die trying......
