Heh. The separation was not "developed". It is a main part of the initial design.

I have to believe that most of those folks either:

a) are Anti-Romney, so they're tired of Paul/Newt/Rick splitting their votes

or

b) are Pro-Romney and would like all THREE to drop out, not just two.

Rho

You left out the most important option and the one that is probably the most valid.

C) Anti Obama, so they just want the part being united behind one candidate and the two who are obviously not going to win they want out. I think a huge majority of the GOP just doesnt want the party damaged any more by the internal bickering.

It has evolved and is still evolving as our society changes.

An example... the Supreme Court ruled in 1831 that the Cherokee could not be removed from Georgia and the laws Georgia were passing were repugnant on the Constitution... Andrew Jackson refused to enforce the laws... and actually sent them on the trial of tears, escorted by the U.S. military.

This is the danger when the separations of powers break down...

"John Marshall[chief justice of SCOTUS] has made his decision; now let him enforce it!" - Jackson

Another is recent times... when George Bush passed some crappy legislation that gave him unilateral power to invade countries... instead of congress... we invade an innocent country.

The GOP

Once the party of "No", has now become the party of bickering about nothing

Uhm, what legislation is it that Dubya passed?

You do know that it was Congress that passed the resolution authorizing the invasion of Iraq, right? It was pretty specific and not plural.

I feel the same way about Ron Paul that Gandhi felt about Christians.

"I like your Christ (Ron Paul), I do not like your followers (Paul fanatics who ruin his image)"
