Doesn't really make a difference does it? I assumed Gingrich was just holding out for a possible VP bid to keep himself in the news, and Paul is just out to make a point really so he'll probably continue.

Gingrich is spending Sheldon Adelson’s money, not his own. As long as Adelson keeps throwing him money, Gingrich will keep spewing whatever stupidity Adelson wants him to spew.
Paul has no reason to get out of the race, in a brokered convention (which is looking almost certain), he will hold a LOT of power. Tons of stupid "libertarian" crap will get on the official Republican platform because of it.

They have millions of dollars to blow, essentially an unlimited transportation and entertainment budget. How friggin fun! Why would you quit that before you spend all the money?

They know that the longer it goes the less chance they have to get Obama out.
It is common sense... the only thing Gingrich and Paul are doing is continuing to alienate even more GOP voters/make them not want to vote for the eventual nominee by throwing mud all over.
Who do you think a GOP voter is going to believe... Ron Paul/Gingrich bad mouthing the eventual nominee or Obama bad mouthing them during presidential election?
They are making it way too easy for Obama...
