What?

Nothing has happened to the elderly couple... and even if it did... it would be the fault of whoever did the crime.

This happens all the time... people get pissed when the law does not work... they post an address trying to get people to do something... just like when the Westboro Baptist Church got hit with arson.

That Dartmouth education isn't doing you any good. If something were to happen to the couple Spike Lee could very easily be charged with a crime because there would be a reasonable expectation that someone would do something to this couple if they thought Zimmerman was there. Spike Lee put the information out there and knows someone could act on it.

He did not do a crime... the worst would be a civil tort... but seeing that there are no damages it is nothing except maybe negligent infliction of emotional distress...

You do very poorly when it comes to reading comprehension. IF something were to happen to this couple as a result of Spike Lee giving out this incorrect address.(in other words, some asshat pays this couple a visit and harms them in some way), then Spike Lee could be charged with a crime since his actions contributed to that harm occurring. It is called causation and it can be a criminal offense.

Causation is an element of a crime... and no, something that far removed is not a crime.

What you are saying would be like suing a gun maker/car maker for some idiot killing someone with it.

if you loan your car to someone and they kill someone guess what you are going to be charged as a accomplice by enabling the crime.
its the same with guns also.

I dont see the difference Spike Lee is enabling a crime if something happens to that couple.

Apparently those classes you took at Dartmouth were a waste of your time. You are simply incapable of understanding. A gun maker manufacturing a gun does not cause one person to be killed by another. Spike Lee by releasing that incorrect information and given the current feelings among certain parts of that community could most certainly caused someone to do something rash since that person was looking to do something and when the information he thought he needed became available.
