It's racist in every sense of the word. I don't know if anyone told you, people we consider 'black' are not a collective consciousness. Whenever you say 'they' and you are referring to an entire group of people whos only similarity is their skin colour, its pretty safe to assume you are racist. That's like saying there is no difference between a gay couple getting in a fight and one slaps the other and a group of people beating the living hell out of someone because they are gay.

Two white thugs having it out an one dies does not make me feel unsafe to walk down the street. A white guy walking home from a candy shop getting killed because they are white DOES make me feel unsafe to walk down the street. Only an absolute moron would fail to see the difference. The black community is collectively calling Zimmerman's actions racist. But they can't collectively get outraged about the killing of their own people....BY their own people? That's ridiculous.


Zimmerman was an over-zealous ass. But if it was a large white teenager wearing a hoodie, he would have followed him as suspicious as well. He's a well documented meddler in his community.

Treyvon wasn't killed because he was a little kid walking home from the candy store. Regardless of what the media feeds you.

He was killed because he decided to beat Zimmerman down in the middle of the street.


Would I be outraged if some punk ass white kid was beating up some middle aged black man in the street, and got his ass shot and killed? Nope. Not in the slightest. I wouldn't think the black man was racist against white people. And I guarantee you it wouldn't make national news.

You do very poorly when it comes to reading comprehension. IF something were to happen to this couple as a result of Spike Lee giving out this incorrect address.(in other words, some asshat pays this couple a visit and harms them in some way), then Spike Lee could be charged with a crime since his actions contributed to that harm occurring. It is called causation and it can be a criminal offense.

If you cannot understand that the social climate for different racial groups is different in this racist society, then you are beyond help. He did say "they always get away with it," which 'they' do you think he was talking about? He didn't say punk kids or anything that would directly imply youths in general. (and why would you use the indirect 'they' to talk about teenagers?) All we know from what he said is that the kid was looking at him, and then started running and the call went on for a minute. its pretty safe to assume that the kid wasnt running AT him, as he talked to the police for a minute or so more. And lets drop the sympathy language, I wont say he was a kid. Ill say he was a man. Zimmerman said he was RUNNING. How fast does a kid, no, a MAN run? The call lasted for a minute or two, but that doesnt mean the MAN was running that whole time, but for a good portion of it, you arent going to RUN for three seconds. That means he covered a few hundred feet at least. You can't keep up with that unless you are running pretty fast as well since he had a head start. So, even if he was a big black man, shadily looking at houses from the sidewalk, throwing up gang signs and not an innocent kid on his way to back from the candy store, (I suspect somewhere in the middle, leaning towards the latter) an equally big if not bigger dude with a gun CHASED him for blocks because he knew 'they' (black people) always get away with 'it.' (crime) He didn't want one of 'them' to get away with 'it' this time, even though the man didnt commit a crime. That much is absolutely true just based on the facts that are given to us. At this point, he may not have known it, but he was running for his life, away from his murderer. His murderer chased him for hundreds of feet if not yards, confronted him (chasing someone that far is a confrontation) may have initiated physical confrontation, may not have (cut and dry self defense on the MANs part if he started it, dude manacingly chased him with a gun) regardless, since 'they' shouldn't get away with 'it' anymore, he murdered the poor boy. And he may be getting away with it. I can understand being somewhat on the fence about how racial this is, so you get irritated by people being swept away perhaps unthinkingly, but what I cant understand is that there doesnt seem to be any outrage on your part. You are racist because you are basically implying that since he was black, we have no right to be outraged because black people kill alot of people. You are implying that it is hypocritical to be pissed about a black person getting killed when black people kill more black people than we do. A black person killing a black person because ones a thug in inner city detroit mugging the other is a tragedy. A hispanic dude killing a black dude because he thinks black people are generally up to no good is also a tragedy. One is solved with economics, one is solved with education. This is an example of something that can be solved with education. We should make an example out of this guy, maximum sentencing for cold blooded murder. It sucks that it had to come to this to educate some people, but once it does happen, its a little solace to use it as an example in hopes it doesnt happen again.

6'2 Black, football player, vs middle aged, overweight hispanic.


As a white man, we're not involved in this at all. We (Collectively referring to white people, without being racist. Imagine that) are out. We don't have a horse in this race, so leave out the white man racism. We. Us. Collectively.


The bottom line in all this, is that a armed hispanic was getting his face stomped by a 6'2 football player who happened to be black oh yeah AND A CRIMINAL. Why did Treyvon attack him? I don't care. The moment Treyvon stopped running and started attacking Zimmerman, was the moment his life was in jeopardy. Or are you suggesting that the overweight hispanic overtook the 6'2 black thief on foot?


If a 6'2 White kid, wearing a wife-beater was beating down a black man, regardless of circumstance, the black community would have branded the white kid a racist and justified the black man shooting him. The would have called him a hill-billy, or a aryan, etc. Hell, Jesse Jackson would have given the middle aged black man a medal for looking out for his neighborhood.


Color doesn't matter. Race doesn't matter. The circumstances matter. And the circumstance was that the black kid made a mistake bringing a fist to a gunfight.
