The same thing can be said about people who threaten others for no other reason other than their own selfish reasons.
HH - Sorry it happened. People are weak. On a side note - through studies, I've heard many different ideas on the human race and monogamy... Where I don't really think it's the best thing for people to cheat on one another, it's basically our instinct to always be looking for others and ways to improve our offspring, to find someone worthy of helping us carry on our line. It's literally Darwinism. This is the same way with many of our primates - such as Gorillas. They're polygynous.
You made a mistake - she made a mistake. It happened, nothing you can do but move forward, acknowledge your wrong doings, and apologize.
