it's nearly impossible to read any kind of article about anything really where race is not mentioned.
Well it is the last of the racist dying out... there is a portion of people who hate Obama just for his skin color... there are also people who love him just because of his skin color. I think we only hear crap from the extremist on both sides... and the majority of people could care less.
I still remember when Obama was elected... and all the old white T.V. reporters were actually tearing up... because they knew this was a changing point for America and they were proud of the progress that was made.
To me it is just incomprehensible that we were killing people for riding in buses... for eating in a restaurant... just 50 years ago.
And of course we know that Obama is a racist too. He takes sides and makes judgments based on race, long before facts are known.
I really do not know what Obama said... and stopped following this case when I learned it was based upon a stupid law.
But I think it is a pretty fair assessment to say that race was involved in this case... maybe not Zimmerman but at the very least the justice system down there. Are you guys really saying that if a 17 year old white kid heading home with some candy and tea was stalked down and shot by a black dude that everything would be identical?! I think ignoring the injustice just makes things worse... it is what baits the racial tensions.

the whole race aspect of this should have been dropped when Zimmerman's father spoke.
that's when we learned he was hispanic, and we all know only actual whites with no other descriptor can be racist!

You are mixing things up.
There is only 5 races that we currently count.
1) white
2) black
3) Asian
4) Native
5) other (for confused people)
They also collect information on ethnicity.

Persians are white, non-Persian Arabs are semetic and that is more of a race than "Native"

Willie White, 70 year old black man in Detroit shot some teens who were just wandering around climbing fences and going into houses, you know, kid stuff. He's not been charged. Should we get out the protest signs and demand Willie White be brought to justice? One of them might have had some candy!

Because the teen was killed, we really won't know the facts so let's just make some up like everyone surrounding Trayvon Martin. Let's say those teens were stalked and killed by racist Willie White. Hell, let's call Willie a white man for starters, after all his name is White!
