whenever I played in work pools, we would sign a list then photocopy this list with the tickets.
everybody that played got a copy.
yup, same. it's sad but you have to do it to protect yourself and make sure everyone is clear on what was purchased and what exactly was in the pool.

Yep - every time a group at our work buys tickets together this is what we do to make sure these stories don't happen. Sounds like someone is just trying to get greedy. Good luck winning that one in court. "  es, your honor, I was the one to buy tickets for the group. Yes, I bought the tickets. But, I bought this one ticket just for me. Honest. I even put it in a separate pocket so I wouldn't confuse them. Why would I lie about this?"
