THe Maryland winning ticket belongs to a group of McDonald's workers, well the person who went and bought the tickets is now saying that the winning ticket wasn't part of the pool to buy tickets and now it is going to hit the fan.

This is why I made sure to photocopy and pass around all the tickets I bought in our pool.

Yep we did the same thing a couple months back- one guy bought all the tickets in the pool, photocopied all of them, and everyone got a copy. That way, no question of shenanigans.

whenever I played in work pools, we would sign a list then photocopy this list with the tickets.
everybody that played got a copy.

A similar course went to trial. If he was the person entrusted to buy the tickets and a ticket he bought won then he will have to share it.

Considering the amount... even if it was not a shared ticket i would split it anyway to avoid the hassle. Nobody NEEDS that much cash anyway
