I always thought the Onion Knight was something Squaresoft invented for their RPG's. Apparently they were paying homage to this book series

Have to agree there. I had Stannis as more burly in my mind with a deeper voice. He seemed kind of wimpy looking/sounding in the show. Maybe that will change as his character becomes more developed.
And for Dontos, hadn't realized at first that was who it was as I didn't hear when he was announced. Afterward when Sansa managed to have him spared I realized who it was. He fits my mental image to a T!
Hope that isn't much of a spoiler...not like he is a major player and it wasn't like he died or anything

Same. But he is kind of a dis-likable character anyways, so I am not too concerned with how I feel about his casting lol.
